TEKNIKERFormulation of slip-resistant paints for walking surfacesSlip-resistance improvement on paints employed on walking surfaces by the incorporation of nanoparticlesDOI: 10.1016/j.porgcoat.2020.105852Slips are one of the main causes of accidents with personal injuries, during working or leisure time. The general trend show that slip resistance
performance improves with the surface roughness of the floor. However, too high surface roughness impede
safe and comfortable mobility, and floor maintenance is more difficult and costly. An anti-slip paint with nanoparticles
can increase the roughness of a surface without generating macroroughness, thus avoiding these
problems. The obtained results
indicate that nanoparticle-based paints present a great potential for reducing the floor surface slipperiness.

ODHEAN considers automatically the opportunities of renewables and energy recovery in a district, and it takes into account the energy performance of the network and a cost analysis (CAPEX, OPEX).Allows the optimization on the Districit Heating Network layout, and to explore millions of alternative designs instead of compraring a limited number of arbitrary alternativesSoftwareDecision supportother -> Energy supply (urban scale)6Colaborative development at shared risks and costs

NOBATEK/INEF4CHAMANA Dynamic Thermal Simulation tool to assess quickly the thermal behaviour of groups of buildings (typically 10-50, in a same district). The heating and cooling needs are assessed on dynamic basis in order to identify the peakloads (their incidence and frequency), and to facilitate the design of the energy supply solutions. Buildings are defined based on a typological approach (for structure, uses, etc). Geometrical parameters are considered though CHAMAN does not work on an explicit full 3D-model, thus allowing a fast parameter setting.Fast parameter setting (based on typological approach) for a group of buildings, providing results on dynamic agregated energy demands.SoftwareDecision supportother -> Energy supply (urban scale)6Further development by technology seeker under licensingNoneContact
NOBATEK/INEF4LUMBRIFILTERThe “lumbrifiltration” is an alternative treatment method of organically polluted water. The principle is based on the vermifilter degradation of domestic water pollution by the association of earthworms Eisenia fetida and Eisenia andrei, and microorganisms (aerobic bacteria). Lumbrifiltration is efficient for wastewater, but also industrial and agricultural wastewater treatment heavily charged with organic matter, such as cannery and dairy. In China, lumbrifilters had been found to be generally good for swine wastewater treatment, municipal wastewater treatment, and domestic wastewater treatment.Low consumption system with really high compactnessINNOQUA

PROactive Low Energy Planning System
Decision supporting tool for renovation of buildings at the building stocks scale.
PROLEPS allows to monitor the energy and environmental performance of your real estate assets and implement the most relevant renovation strategy.
PROLEPS provides monitoring indicators at different scale (building, set of buildings, buildings stock), and constitutes a unique reporting tool.
As a decision support tool for developing your Strategic Asset Plan, PROLEPS helps to prioritize renovation actions according to different criteria and to define the associated financial engineering.
Overview of a building stock showing different indicators at the different scales (building, set of buildings, buildings stock)
Allows the comparison between different renovation strategies and scenarii to help the asset manager in making the most relevant decision and priorisation of renovation actions considering different criteria (energy consumption reduction, CO2 emissions reduction, costs)

Building Energy Management Server
Open Source Building Energy Management Platform
BEMServer is an open source solution to deploy a modular, scalable and secure Building Energy Management System.

With the increasing amount of data to monitor buildings, it becomes crucial to offer tools that help managers in taking the best decisions to better control the energy of their buildings, and to involve all actors in reducing their environmental impact.
BEMServer was created to ease the deployment of these services, and to allow building managers to install applications that answer to their specific needs, instead of being confined to a monolithic, rigid solution.
Open source solution
Modular, scalable and evolutive

Interoperable
You are facility managers, building owners, energy managers, energy efficiency consultants, or ESCos? You can use BEMServer directly as a central tool able to collect and manipulate the data measured in your building.

NOBATEK/INEF7MASSDOCAutomated information extraction tool from heterogeneous documents into the IFC model.
Massdoc helps users in searching for relevant information from a collection of textual documents. It is made of two modules: an annotator which indexes the documents and represents them through a semantic graph while relying on a formal ontology compatible with IFC, and a search engine retrieving information that is relevant to the user’s query.
On the one hand, here are several BIM-oriented solutions (e.g., BimQL) which cope with domain-related information but completely neglect the document aspect and links between them. On the other hand, there are several document management solutions (e.g., Newforma Project Center, Kroqi) which offer classic operations on documents (e.g., filtering, keyword-based search) and neglect semantics of the information. To our knowledge, there is no existing information system which handles both domain-related and document aspects (e.g., referring to a specific page or section describing acoustic and thermal properties of a building element and all related information, referring to related documents, etc.) thus reducing time, effort and human errors.BIM4REN
