METABUILDING is an innovation ecosystem.
The members of METABUILDING bring opportunities and innovation to the built environment sector. METABUILDING’s focus is connecting stakeholders (small-medium enterprise’s to public bodies and large companies) from different sectors in order to create an integrated value chain.
The METABUILDING platform is the digital backbone.
The METABUILDING platform consists of several digital tools and services that help SME’s and other stakeholders engage in successful innovation. In this platform you will find services and information that will assist you in finding existing innovative technologies ready to deployed or project partners seeking collaboration on new exciting projects.

METABUILDING offers financial support for innovation.
The METABUILDING project consortium will manage the open calls directed at SME’s that wish to engage in collaboration outside of their sector to bring innovation to the construction sector. Please follow this link to find out more information.
METABUILDING target sectors;
Innovation within the construction sector will be initially driven by outreach to 4 innovative and emerging industrial sectors; additive manufacturing, nature-based solutions, digital industry and circularity & recycling. Over time more and more sectors will be integrated to the innovation ecosystem.
METABUILDING target countries;
Learning from other countries through collaboration and knowledge sharing is, seen by the METABUILDING ecosystem as, integral to driving innovation. The METABUILDING project started out with 6 target countries; Austria, France, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Spain. However, the METABUILDING platform is now open and expanding to other countries.
The METABUILDING consortium.
The consortium partners are institutions representing the 5 key sectors on a European level. The consortium includes national platforms and other stakeholders representing the construction sector and actively engaged in bringing innovation to the traditional built environment.

| Cluster Facilitated Projects for New Industrial Value Chains
The Horizon 2020 INNOSUP programme aims to test new approaches for better innovation support through funding opportunities for innovation actors across Europe and is managed by European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).
METABUILDING is funded within its action “Cluster facilitated projects for new industrial value chains” aimed at providing innovation support to SMEs, for mutually reinforcing competences, in view of creating new industrial value chains that foster the development of emerging industries in Europe.
